Do's:

• Microfiber Cloth: This is the best option, like the kind you use for cleaning eyeglasses. It's soft and won't scratch your belt.

• Isopropyl Alcohol (70%): This is great for removing fingerprints and won't damage the paint or plating. You can find it at most drugstores.

• Light Soapy Water: In a pinch, you can use a mild dish soap diluted with water. Just make sure to dry the belt completely afterwards.

Don'ts:

• Waxes and Polishes: These can make your belt look greasy.

• Dish Rags and Bath Towels: These are too rough and can scratch the surface.
• Paper Towels: These can also scratch and leave lint behind.
